Also looking for Thomas's father and mother - I believe were George William Paterson & Jane Smith. donald wayne patterson - montreal (26/7/1999)

PROSSER. I am looking for Prosser family links in the Prosser's Brook area there. My 3GGrandmaother was Polly Prosser Coon married to Joseph Coon - 1745 time frame is known. She was born in or raised in Dryden, New York and died in Rockport, New York. Her father's name was Ichabod Prosser and that is all I know at this point. PEARSON. My Mother Orris Belle PEARSON was born , she said, a mile from Riverside, Albert, NB.

The village is actually Riverside-Albert, Albert County and is located near the mouth of the Petitcodiac River. It's a small picturesque village on the road between Fundy National Park and Moncton. You can find it's exact location on the following federal government website:

http://geonames.nrcan.gc.ca/index_e.php

. She had four sisters, Ola, Oneta, Olga and Orpa. She was born in 1903. Her father was Isaac Turner PEARSON born in 1859 in Albert Co. His father was Thomas PEARSON , born 1817 in Albert and married July 22, 1847. Thomas PEARSON was married to Nancy TURNER b. 1827 in Albert Co. Nancy's father was Joseph TURNER and her mother was Nancy (?) PECK.

Issac Turner PEARSON was married to Mary Malinda LUNN, b. 1870 in Belleisle Bay, Kings Co. Mary's father was Micahel Robert LUNN B. Queens Co. Micahel's father was Johnathan LUNN born and married in England to Mary Melinda JACKSON also born in England. Mary Malinda LUNN's mother was Hannah Perkins FOSTER b. Queens Co. Hannah's father was John FOSTER born in the north of Ireland and her mother was Betsy (?) ROGERS born in the north of Ireland. I would appreciate any help at all that I can get from the good people of New Brunswick. Bill Shields (7/12/1999)

PEARSON.  I am trying to find the parents of Solomon Mann PEARSON (SMP), born about 1821 in Hopewell. SMP had 3 wives and 9 children. SMP married Margaret STILES, 8 Oct 1840 and they had Gabriella (b abt 1842) and Sarah (b abt 1845). I found Sarah on the 1851 census in Hopewell (age 6, with her STILES relatives), but no further trace of either Gabriella or Sarah after that. SMP married Eliza PARKIN 22 Dec 1853 in Salisbury. They had Horace (b abt 1854, no further info), Laura (b abt 1858, d 1 Oct 1873, buried Maple Leaf Cemetery, Ontario), Mary Elizabeth (b 1858, nurse in Cuba, d 1940 Jamaica), and George Randolph (my ggrandfather, 1865-1947). Eliza died 24
Mar 1868. SMP married Mary A. COLPITTS 1869. They had Thomas WIlliam (b 1871, d 1941 in BC) and Katie (b 1874, d 8 Jan 1878, buried Maple Leaf  Cemetery, Ontario). In about 1881 SMP moved to BC and was one of the first settlers of Lulu Island (now Richmond) south of Vancouver British Columbia. SMP died 28 Sep 1903 and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver. SMP was a tanner/currier in NB and Ontario, then a farmer in BC. He was Baptist in NB, but he listed New Jeruselum as his religion in 1871 in Ontario. I believe SMP had a brother Elisha (witness on a marriage of SMP) who I have traced to Kansas.
